Drapanias is a seaside village with some tourist development in recent years, and along the beach road there are a few cafes and tavernas where you can enjoy a drink or meal by the sea. The village is well known for its Venetian Villa Trevizan. (see sites)
The village of Nopigia east of Drapanias on the coastal road, has a wonderful open air amphitheatre built in 1992 but based on an ancient design with typical natural acoustics. Here you will also find cafes and tavernas for quiet moments overlooking the sea.
